Staffing, Recruiting, and Personnel Services
Skagit Business & Staffing has been providing Skagit County with temporary administrative and office staff, and assisting with client companies' recruiting needs for over 20 years. We are familiar with the county's business growth and its agricultural roots, and have been very active in civic and community groups during this time. Many of our temporary staff are highly trained people who prefer the flexibility and independence that "temping" can give them.
Temporary Staffing
We can supply your company with qualified office and administrative personnel for a period as short as four hours, or as long as several months. Our staff has been interviewed, tested for skills, references and background checks done before they go on assignments. Clients are billed on a weekly basis with a fee that includes payroll, payroll taxes, and insurance.
Sometimes temporary staff fills your needs so well the client wishes to hire directly. This can be done using a conversion process where separation fees vary according to length of service.
Recruiting
Personnel screening can save your company time and effort. SBS can work with you on all or some of the following functions: advertising for a vacant position, evaluating resumes, screening, interviewing, and testing qualified candidates.
Skills Testing
SBS provides computer-based testing customized to fit your company's needs. All office and computer skills including accounting, bookkeeping, administrative support, office management, customer service and technical terminology can be tested and assessed.
